Putting Pen to Paper

Many people do not like to write, simply because they do not believe in their ability to write or they are afraid of criticism.
Quite a lot of people don’t fancy writing (myself including)?—?but?—?it’s something you can’t escape in many fields.
I believe graphic design is one such field. Whether we like it or not, the way we write contributes to the quality of work we are able to produce. As we must write about our design, or on it.
Writing is a basic skill, we all know it. It is one of those fundamental skills we all were thought at a tender age. For some, before they own their first bicycle or made their first friend. Yet when we are to write: we are afraid, unwilling, or maybe just plain lazy.
Every piece of writing starts empty?—?a blank slate. It comes alive when we put our thoughts together, and pen to paper.
It’s often hard to start. But once we manage to start, then, all hell breaks loose. It gets easier as you go along, ideas flow?—?faster than you can write.
Then… a masterpiece is born.
There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you. -Maya Angelou
We must all write, to express our inner thoughts. Because we all have our stories to tell. Don't you agree?
